BEARING FRUIT

BEARING FRUIT, led by Pastor Dave Hill, is a diverse ministry fellowship for any single or married adult that desires to search the treasures of God’s Word to personally grow and develop in key areas including biblical truth, finance, forgiveness, health, and personal accountability.

CAREER

The Career Ministry Fellowship is an adult class that strives to keep you focused on the body and give you access to a pastor. Social functions and community outreach opportunities are designed to give you an outlet to implement principles learned on Sunday mornings.
CORE
11am in Rooms FH 1 and 2
The CORE Ministry Fellowship focuses on establishing community through its four goals: Caring for each other, Obeying God’s Word, Reaching out to the Community, and Expecting God to work. All are welcome to join as we work to build a diverse group that includes all ages and ethnicities and looks like the whole body of Christ.
CROSSOVER
9:30am in Rooms 225 and 226
Crossover is a young married couples ministry fellowship lead by Pastor Jeff Cox. Crossover’s focus is to equip young couples to lead and serve. Learn how to have a successful Christ-centered marriage and train up children with Biblical parenting tools.

FOCUS
9:30am in FH 1 and 2
Single young adults learn to discern God-given opportunities from devastating distractions in this dynamic class. Learn to focus on who God made you to be, surrender your desires and passions and make decisions that will have an eternal impact. This class is open to single young adults age 34 and under.
GODVIEW
8am in FH 3
GodView’s purpose is to get a biblical view of God, leading to a right view of ourselves, which enables us to accomplish God’s mission for our lives to reach others. This will be accomplished through the same three aspects of ministry that Jesus engaged in: Teaching (information); Preaching (motivation); and Healing (Application). Our goal is to build believers so they can effectively battle the enemy and experience victory in Jesus.
GROUNDED FOR LIFE
8am in FH 1 and 2
Grounded for Life is for adults desiring to grow in their faith and the love of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to provide a format that is interesting, engaging and edifying. We focus on building healthy relationships and equipping the saints through the portable and practical application of God’s Word. Come bring your gifts, your talents and an open heart to see how Our Lord might use you!

HISPANO

El Ministerio Hispano anhela desarrollar a sus miembros a su potencial en Cristo para así poder cumplir con la misión de Kansas City Baptist Temple y ser un ejemplo de un verdadero ministerio hispano dentro de una iglesia local en los EE.UU. Anhelamos al igual alcanzar a la comunidad hispana de Kansas City para Cristo. La enseñanza es traducida simultáneamente al inglés.
LIFE 101

Life101 offers all ages an opportunity not only to learn from the lives of the men and women of the Bible but to share their life with others in the body. Enjoy a time of community each week as well as Biblical instruction. Read Psalm 101 and then come try Life101!
LIFELINE
11am in Room 204 beginning September 12, 2010
Lifelines are safety equipment used by fire and rescue teams as well as mountain climbers to keep all members anchored and connected for safety. A lifeline can either be attached to a person or to a secure object, like a rock. The anchor of our lifeline, Jesus Christ, is both a person and a rock. Adults of all ages are encouraged to join us on Sunday mornings!
SWORD SMITHS
9:30am in Room 202 beginning September 12, 2010
Adults of all ages are invited to join us Sunday mornings. Our teaching focus is to help Christians understand the “things which become sound doctrine” (Titus 2.1) and all that they possess in Christ (Isaiah 28.9-10).

WAY OF LIFE

Though this ministry fellowship includes members of all ages, the majority are senior adults (50 and up). We strive to mobilize members for ministry by providing an environment in which they will be challenged and channeled, motivated and matured, taught and trained to be efficient and effective in accomplishing the KCBT mission.

WOMEN OF SUBSTANCE
11am in Room 101 beginning September 12, 2010
It is our desire to foster a community of women of substance (35 and over) in the church that invest their lives, talents and passions with kingdom-mindedness. We are excited about being a part of a healing, nurturing and supportive community that encourages women to live in the liberty of Christ, expressing the gifts that God has given them. Through diverse, mentoring and restorative relationships, we can tell the story together of Christ in each of us.
