The Worship, Arts, and Multimedia ministry strives to lead our congregation into an authentic worship lifestyle. Our vision is to develop the community of worshipers and to direct the congregation to worship and praise the Lord Jesus Christ. Isaiah 45:5-12
Our ministry goals are: to lead congregational worship and praise in our main services and for special events; to understand and communicate what biblical worship and praise is, and how it applies to our lives, our communities, and the world; to develop and maintain a community open to artists and those who wish to use their gifts in worship and praise; and to provide support for KCBT ministries in praise, technical, and artistic ares.
We desire to worship God and enjoy His divine presence forever; to build up the body of Christ; and to deliver our faith through artistic means in a credible and relevant manner to those who do not know of God’s grace and salvation.
The Arts play an indispensable role in helping us understand and articulate the wisdom of God. Musicians, singers, players, A/V and Multimedia connoisseurs, producers, writers, painters, designers, actors, and photographers are all welcome to join us in this essential pursuit.
Each Sunday you’ll hear a variety of music that reflects the unique diversity of our congregation.
Our 8:00am Reverence Worship Service is for those seeking a worship experience featuring hymns and modern praise choruses in a “mezzo-piano” environment.
Our 9:30am Mosaic Worship Service emphasizes a multi-cultural (and occasionally multi-lingual) worship experience, including gospel music, and modern hymns and praise songs in a “mezzo-forte” environment.
Our 11:00am Progressive Worship Service is for those who like their music a little louder to participate in a time of expressive and intimate worship in a “fortissimo” environment.

Cadenza – Performing Arts Choir
Cadenza, our Performing Arts Choir rehearses Monday nights at 7:00pm in the Choir Room (136). This is not your “typical” church choir, as we will be performing at special events and services. Our goals for this choir are: 1) To provide ministry opportunities for singers; 2) To expose our congregation and singers to all types of music from all musical periods; and 3) To provide another avenue of worship that explores music as an art. This ensemble requires no audition and is open to anyone. While reading music is not a requirement, it would be somewhat helpful.

Discipleship Praise Choir
The Discipleship Praise Choir is made up of people who have learned to become instruments of praise for Christ. The choir is open anyone. The music we sing and play can be categorized as Black Gospel, yet we enjoy combining the genre of old hymns, contemporary gospel, Christian music and praise. We are a family, and prayer is a strong focus in our practices, bringing a spirit of worship into everything we do. It’s not about how you sound, but about how you allow God to sound through you. We meet on Thursday nights as part of the Mosaic Worship Service rehearsal, and sing in the Mosaic service on a weekly basis. Additional rehearsals will be scheduled as needed.
