The construction crews had to wait Monday for the rain to dry out; otherwise construction proceeded quite well this week. The crews continue to dig out the area for the new Children’s Building, moving the dirt to the back of the parking lot for later use in building roadway ramps to 55th Street.

This Sunday you’ll find the fence has been moved off the walkway to all full pedestrian access. Some of the dirt near the sidewalk was also moved to help prevent mudslides during future rainstorms. Continue to use available crosswalks when crossing 55th Street; please do not stop on 55th Street to drop off passengers as this prevents traffic from proceeding smoothly.
