We believe every member is part of the team and is uniquely gifted to serve and minister God’s truth at church, in the community and as God opens doors around the world. Opportunities for ministry and service abound throughout our church: childcare, sports leagues, teaching ministries, counseling, building and grounds maintenance; web development; audio, lighting, and television recording and broadcast; worship, praise, and prayer teams. There is truly a place for every person to get involved in God’s mission!

Worship Ministry - Behind the scenes help

Do you have an ear for worship? We are currently looking for eight people to join to the audio team in our main worship services. Training is provided during our normal rehearsals. Please contact the Worship Office at 816.358.0988 x 2027 for further information or to signup.

RS09: Help during Construction

During the construction of our new building, volunteers are needed in several areas to help members navigate into our building. Help is needed on Sunday mornings and at designated times throughout the week. Please contact Chris Ruzicka to sign-up or for more information about these areas of need.

Watchmen - Provide aid and security for Sunday services and special events.

Traffic Facilitators - Direct traffic on Sunday mornings during the Campus Expansion.

Parking Lot Aids - Transport the physically challenged from Lot A to the doors of our church on Sunday mornings.

Shuttle Drivers - Deliver members and guests from the upper parking lot to the front door.

Evening Patrol - Patrol the parking lots weeknights from 5-9pm.

Greeters

Do you enjoy meeting new people? All ages are welcome to join us in welcoming members and guests to our Sunday worship services! Responsibilities include passing out literature, directing people to the correct classes, and locating seats during worship services. Team members serve one Sunday per month.

Altar Workers

People Ministries help assimilate guests to our local body through personal contacts. Whether responding to questions over the phone or in person, compassion and a helping hand encourage a loving, caring environment.

Pray and counsel those who respond during our weekly worship services. Follow-up with decisions made and report all information to the Altar Captain. There are weekly opportunities to share the gospel and improve your counseling skills.

Media

KCBT strives to incorporate the latest aspects of media production in all areas. Whether preparing video and audio productions or maintaining our various websites, technological skills are vital to maintain our relevance in a constantly changing environment. Each team member works two Sundays per month.

Team members provide customer service during weekly worship services. They assist by recording and duplicating CDs and generating albums, CDs, and mp3s for the Resource Center. Team members also operate cameras to record services for broadcast.
